San Cristóbal is located on almost 2'100 meters, so even in summer time it can get quite chilly. I really like this relaxed and colourful colonial town, with many churches and a bustling market.

San Cristóbal de Las Casas
On Thursday, July 12 we said good bye to the sunny beach life and travelled with the overnight bus to San Cristóbal de Las Casas. When we arrived there on Friday morning we had quite a change in temperature, a chilly 10 degrees or even less made us shiver all day.
